There was a bit of a queue when I started this commission, but the artist was very upfront that it might be a few weeks before they could get started on it, so they left the commission in NEW status until the queue cleared up. The artist then double checked with me that I still wanted the commission, which I did, but was also very nice of them to ask.
Once the commission was approved it did not take the artist long to provide me with a sketch, and the final portrait was ready shortly thereafter. Overall I am very pleased and this artist met and exceeded all of my expectations!
