Unless you, the client, state otherwise or I, the artist, do not feel comfortable doing so -- usually in the case of NSFW pieces -- I will post commission pieces publicly and may use them as samples for future, updated commission charts. However, I will ALWAYS ask you before posting.
You may NOT redistribute or repost or edit a commission I have done for you without my permission. You may NOT resell a commission I have done for you under any circumstances. More broadly speaking, this applies to all of my art.
Though I am very flexible, I will only agree to requests I am comfortable drawing. I have the right to turn down a request.
I will not begin a commission until I have been paid. Unless these are special circumstances, I will normally demand half up front, and half after I am done. The half paid up front is sort of like a contract; it will be held until the commission is complete and you have paid in full, agreeing that you are satisfied with the work done. If, for whatever reason, I am unable to complete your commission, I will let you know right away and you will be refunded. If you decide that you no longer want the work BEFORE I have shown you the finished work, you will be refunded your half and the work will be cancelled. Should you decide that you no longer want the work AFTER I have shown you the finished piece or after you have paid the rest of the amount, you will not be refunded and in the case of the former, you will be expected to pay the rest of what is owed as you will already have the finished piece.
