Ultema is a wonderful artist! She is very polite and will make sure you shows you every step of the way. She's not someone who will leave you hanging and won't take too much on so she can give each customer a very positive experience. I'm definitely coming back for more and already have plans. She brought my character, Lossenthêl, to life and I am so proud to be able to show off my character! Ultema is able to capture emotion in the eyes, something like that is very hard to do. She gets posture right and she has a gift that I hope takes her far! I'm so coming back to Ultema, I kind of don't want to share her >.> She's so amazing that I want her to make lots and lots of art! She's also very pleasant to talk to! All will be hard-pressed to find someone as nice, professional and makes beautiful things happen in a short amount of time.
An honestly amazingly enjoyable commissioning experience and simply a great piece of art that came from it. If you can get a spot, consider yourself lucky.
Easy to communicate with, understanding and fast working. An absolute pleasure to commission!
An extremely friendly and skilled artist. I was given lots of choices and freedom with my commission and was so thrilled by the result. Ultema was professional but also approachable, so I felt comfortable chatting about unrelated things and requesting any changes I had in mind. Definitely someone I would recommission!
I've had a massively positive experience with Ultema. Even though they had a lot of things that prevented them to getting the commission to me in a super timely fashion, I will not downgrade anything based on that. They kept me informed of any problems they had, and I cannot recommend them more!
An amazing artist who was incredibly communicative with me during the whole process and was able to picture what exactly. Art is amazing and well worth the price!
I've never been more impressed with quality. I absolutely love the art I receive.
Ultema is an amazing and wonderful artist and really brings to life fictional characters. She is an amazing and wonderful person to interact with and you're really lucky if you can get a spot with her! I love her artwork and I love working with her! She does so much and is a wonderful person! I'm so happy with my artwork and if she allows it, I can't wait to work with her again!
Lovely work! This artist is quick to respond and always does an amazing job to make your vision come true. They're also great with updates and WIPs, which is nice to watch as the piece comes together (:

Payment is expected after the sketch phase due to issues with certain clients disappearing after 95% of the work is done. I know this feels problematic to people, but there are more safeguards in place for the buyer than for the artist.
You are always welcome AND ENCOURAGED to inquire on the status of your commission. I do my best to be in contact at very least within the same day, if not within hours of a message.
Characters belong to their respective owners, but artwork belongs to me, and may not be used for commercial purposes unless otherwise stated.
I reserve the right to use commission images as examples of my work in my gallery and on my website with proper character ownership credited (this means you!)
During sketch phase is where corrections in composition need to be discussed. I will make no changes to composition post-sketch phase.
I typically take weekends off.
REFERENCE IMAGES! This is a broad category. Bits and pieces you took inspiration from on people, be they real life photographs or other drawings, 3d models, whatever. A color key is extremely helpful for things like skin, eye color and hair, even if you don't draw.
Be as descriptive as possible Stay away from using blanket statements such as " he/she is beautiful". Try to refrain from flowery descriptions. Give me the bare-bones basics of what colors, shapes and the looks are.
Include all the details of your character if they are relevant to what you want drawn. If you include height and weight, also include body build; are they a certain height and weight that's mostly muscle? Mostly fat? Somewhere in between? Since I tend to try to vary my character's facial features to make them more like people, including things like size and shape of eyes nose and mouth, and thickness of eyebrows would be preferable.
A description of their personality is key for an image that "describes" the character. Try to include the most prominent parts of their personality, as adding all the little nuances without defining them as such can lead to confusion.
Some of their interests or occupations. This can help to make a more interesting character image if you don't specify exactly what you want.
