A Full Character Artwork includes linework, coloring, and shading which will be made in Adobe Photoshop.
I'll start with the sketch, in which I will run it by you if there's anything you want changed. after I get a thumbs up I dive into the linework, using a mask so I can change the color of the linework if needed. Then I create another mask on a coloring layer so I'll never color outside the lines accidentally. After that, I duplicate the mask on a shade layer and start shading with the same benefits as the coloring mask. I mess with the opacity of the shade layer so i can easily change how dark the shading is. After that it's pretty much done and ready to send.
