These are my Terms of Service! ♥ It may get a little formal near the end, but that's only because the last section addresses the more serious topic of rights to the artwork. They're there to protect both me and my clients from messy issues like copyright infringement among other things. ♥
That said, the rest of this article's purpose is just to explain my process, as well as inform you of things that I am willing and unwilling to create. ♥
[] Stage 1: Lineart
This is the very basic lineart stage, with no color or shading, and may still have some line overlaps, or items and elements drawn in red or blue. ♥ This is so the Client can see the form and pose of the character, before moving on to the coloring stage.
[] Stage 2: Color
Here, the Client can choose 1 from 3 color schemes that the Artist will provide; 1 with the original color scheme and 2 others as alternatives to the first. This is so the Client can see what other color schemes would look like on the character, and would give them the option to mix and match color schemes if they so choose. ♥
[] Stage 3: Shading/Final
The final stage will use the color scheme the client chooses in Stage 2. ♥ Here, the Artist will apply the shading and some extra atmospheric lighting, as well as the default background. ♥ The finished product would be a JPEG & a PNG image in 2000x2000 dpi, however the Client can specify another type of high resolution file if they so choose. ♥
Days Off: Sundays & Saturdays
Every slot comes with 2 revisions per Production Stage. If the two revisions have been spent, the Artist will automatically proceed to the next Production Stage. However, if some revisions have not been spent on previous stages, then the Client may then use them for the latter stages. ♥
