The Artist reserves the right to stop work on a Commission, or cancel a Commission request due to poor communication, rude/inappropriate behavior, an inability to effectively communicate in the English language, or a breach of these Terms of Service.
The Artist will not create any depiction of sexually explicit (i.e., “x-rated”, pornographic in nature) materials, fetishes, or any form of hateful or racist imagery.
The Artist will not reproduce a copyrighted image or character without consent of its copyright owner.
The Artist retains all rights to the Commission and any incidental work made in the creation of the Work, which includes but is not limited to: Distribution, reproduction, use of the Commission for Artist promotion (e.g. Profiles, Personal Space, Public Space) etc.
The Artist reserves all rights of reproduction and all copyrights to the Work, the preliminary design,
The Client must specify the content of their Commission to the best of their ability prior to a Commission Agreement. A complex Commission may incur additional illustration fees, to be defined and agreed upon in the Commission Agreement prior to Start of Work.
The Client must specify the desired dimensions of the Commission, It can be in Pixels or Inches/Centimetres
If the Commission is time-sensitive, a rush fee may be applied, to be defined and agreed upon in the Commission Agreement prior to Start of Work.
The Artist shall receive authorship credit in the event of any reproductions of the Work.The Commissioning Agent gives to the Artist permission to use the Commissioning Agent’s name, logo, email, art page urls, including but not limited to exhibition, display, advertising, trade, and editorial uses, without violation of the
Commissioning Agent’s right of privacy.
The Client may display the Commission in Profiles as long as the Artist’s credits(logo) are visible in the image
Under no circumstances may the Client submit a Commission to any kind of contest.
If the Commission is for Commercial Purpose, the Artist must be notified prior to the Start of Work. Commercial use of the Commission will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
The Client may request a preview of the Commission at any time during the creation process.
If the Work is terminated by the Client in the event of illness or events beyond the control of the Artist or Client, the Client shall own the Work in whatever degree of completion and shall have the right to complete, exhibit, and sell the Work if the Client so chooses. The Client has the right to keep the preliminary drawings in order to complete the project.
