The scope of my work with this project is the actual tree and birds, not including the white tile grid. I would work closely with the tile installer to simplify the process. The tile setter's time is increased by the level of custom cutting involved, which could be reduced with a design tweak. The mosaic was created in sections on thin tileboard, which was easy to set into place in one day. After surrounding tile was installed, I returned to grout the seams.
