COMMISSIONING ME
When initiating the commission, have a solid idea of what you want from me. The more descriptions and reference images you supply, the quicker your commission will be finished and it will match up more to what you envisioned!
It's fine to give me some artistic freedom, but the drawing process may be slowed as I may ask questions to ensure I draw what you want and like.
PROGRESS UPDATES
For most commissions, I will send progress updates periodically. However, you can always request updates at any time. I'd prefer that you didn't ask for updates just to see, but that you critiqued them, no matter how small the details may be, so that I can get you what you want at a quicker pace. Progress shots are FOR critiques.
CHANGES
I'm happy to work with you to get what you want, but I have a right to refuse excessive changes at any point in the commission, or charge an additional fee for the extra work. I will always discuss the fee increase before applying it. Clear instructions when initiating the commission and while in the beginning progress updates can help to avoid this!
Throughout the commission process, please be sure that you are available to answer any of my questions and approve/deny updates!
RIGHTS
By commissioning me, you agree that I have the rights to post the commission in a portfolio/gallery, use it as an example for self promotion, etc. UNLESS otherwise agreed upon. I'm used to working for projects that I cannot disclose images of, so I have no problem doing so.
I will never resell images, your characters/ideas, etc. UNLESS the commission is cancelled. I may reuse it as a "your character here" and add changes so it is not strikingly similar to the original commission.
If my work is posted/uploaded anywhere, you must link back or credit me! Do not claim my work as your own work, or use it for commercial purposes unless agreed upon.
Again, if you have any questions, please ask them before commissioning me or when you provide the information!
