Paid in full, without any negotiations. Set deadline as a few days before 21st (4 weeks away at time of booking). Submitted work on 21st evening itself, missed deadline. She was told it's a birthday present.

The work was good, and took my initial suggestion reference, making two rough draft scenes out of it, to make sure I got what I wanted. Good artist.
