By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the terms below. Any of the statements can be bound to change if discussed with me, Jessica, first.
GENERAL
Please write in a clear and polite manner. I will do the same for you.
While I’m open for discussion, please do not try to push me to do something that I am uncomfortable with. If I feel things are being taken too far, I will cancel your commission and provide a refund if the payment is given and the art is less than 50% complete.
If you fail to follow the rules provided I reserve the right to cancel the commission.
Please provide clear references or extremely descriptive entries to help me make your commission come out as good as I can make it.
PAYMENT
Commissions are preferred to be paid in full or half in advance. I will not begin working until I’ve received some sort of payment. The art will not be given until the payment is complete.
The payment method currently accepted is PayPal. Commission payments in a different currency must be equivalent to that of the USD price rates I have put on this document.
PROCESS
I can supply descriptions of the WIP and estimated finish time throughout the drawing process. I will not be able to supply photos
I will ask you questions if I am confused about something. This is to ensure I give you the best possible product
The time it can take for your commission to be complete can be up to 3 months due to sudden events regarding the following; Sudden health problems, family emergency, work, complexity of the commission, number of commissions, etc.
If any of the things stated above occurs you will be notified ASAP.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
I want to do what I can to have the customer happy with their product.
However, after a commission is finished I will only allow 5 minor mistakes fixes (such as coloring or marking mistakes).
Requests that involve drastic change to the drawing I completed will come with an extra fee.
COPYRIGHT / USAGE
I, the artist, hold every right to the produced drawing, not the commissioner.
Therefore I´m allowed to use the copyrighted artwork for promotional, social, and personal use.
The commissioner is allowed to use the copyrighted artwork for personal use, print the art, and claim the right of their original characters. Commissioners will not be able to claim the drawing itself. The commissioners will also be able to use the art to promote themselves so long as credit to the artist is given.
If you break the copyright infringement in any way, every right you had to the drawing will be retracted.
COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
Reproduce/use the copyrighted artwork commercially
Take Credit for the creation of the artwork.
Remove any watermarks/signatures.
The following above are considered copyright infringement. If any of the above are broken, then I will retract your rights to the drawing.
Purchase of Commercial rights to the artwork can be bought for a fee; you may ask about this when commissioning me. This will give you 100% rights to the art and may be used for personal as well as commercial usage. Credit to the original artist is still required.
CANCELING/REFUNDING POLICY
I reserve the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.
You have no right to cancel or demand a refund from the artist under any circumstances after the payment is received and the commission is completed.
If money has not been sent yet the commissioner has the right to cancel the commission.
If you file a chargeback against me, you will be blacklisted and forbidden from ever receiving a piece of art from me, Jessica, ever again. I will also spread your username to ensure other artists are warned. I have every right to file a complaint and all the right to the money you have given me.
Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, and prior to the commission.
