Copyright infringements include: reproducing artwork for commercial purposes, claiming credit for the creation of the artwork and altering the artwork without the artist’s permission.
The project timeline will vary depending on the nature of the project. However, the following are the three main stages of the commission process:
Stage 1: Rough Draft
A rough sketch will be sent through for approval. This stage is about finding a middle-ground between the artist’s and customer’s visions.
Stage 2: Color Blocked Clean Sketch
A color blocked sketch of finer detail and rendering will be sent for approval. This stage is about agreeing on the color palette and direction of the artwork.
Stage 3: Final Render
The final render will be submitted as a PNG and TIFF file. Changes to the final render can only be made if the artist neglected anything stated within the customer's commission request.
