Payment
I accept both DeviantART Points and Paypal Transfers as sources of payment in USD. The client is not responsible for paying fees from either website for transferring the payment. Excluding transferring foreign cash to USD.
When paying with DeviantART points:
The client must pay through the "Give Points" feature through my profile. Sending anything to the Donation Widget is considered a donation towards stated causes.
The client must use the $1 = 100 Points method towards payment.
When paying through Paypal Transfer:
All payments must be in USD when transferring. Anything else will be sent back and I am not responsible for any money lost through Paypal's tax because of the invalid transfer. They must still pay the exact amount due regardless.
The client is allowed to pay half for a commission costing or above $30 for 2 weeks. Afterward set time, the client must pay for the commission unless I state otherwise. If the client can't or refuses to pay for the commission after given time: there will be $5 interest for every week that the commission goes unpaid.
If clients cannot pay even half for a commission after set time, they may be entitled to a given amount of time to either pay half or full. However, after the agreed date the client must pay unless stated otherwise. The previous rule towards refusal regarding payment applies here as well.
Cancellation and Refunds
I only accept cancellation and refunds if I haven't started the client's order. Once I've started it, I've considered their order a done deal and won't accept them not paying for it or demanding refunds. However, half-payment is once again acceptable in certain cases as well as postponing payment upon agreement. YCHs however, do not promise refunds.
As the Artist
I consider the client's order apart of my personal portfolio. Unless agreed to something different: I have all rights to the illustration, personal and commercial. However if they want me to make it private for a certain amount of time, I will consider it.
I don't have a deadline for the client's commission. I will of course attempt to get it done by a certain amount of time. Life happens sometimes however, therefore deadlines are not solid.
As the Commissioner
The client may use the illustration ONLY for personal use unless agreed to something different. They may use, repost, anything of that nature with necessary credit. Anything beyond that is unacceptable.
As the Viewer
They do not have personal or commercial use over any of my images. This means that the viewer may not use, repost, edit, or anything of that sort with my images. The only exception is if the viewer gets written permission from me. My main accounts are listed above, please make sure that you're getting permission from me and not anyone else.
What I Will Not Draw
NSFW pieces. I will not draw sexual interaction or sexual themes. Including but not limited to indecent nudity, kinks, fetishes, obnoxious breasts, genitalia and anything alike. However, I do understand if a character has a larger breast size as long as it's once again not obnoxious.
Disturbing themes beyond mild gore.
Obnoxious swearing. Swearing itself may not be opposed but anything obnoxious or vile won't be accepted.
The Process
The client is required to fill out the commission form to order. The client can choose to pay before or after the commission is finished but must pay after receiving a preview if they plan to pay afterwards.
