If you’ve never commissioned a piece from an artist, this is basically the process we’ll go through:
-You will describe to me exactly what you want, providing me with references through links if necessary. Once we agree on an idea and a price, you must give a down payment before I can begin working on the piece.
- (If you are commissioning me through Artists&Clients skip this bullet) I will send you an invoice through paypal for all payments; do NOT send payments as gifts (if your curious why).The down payment is a payment in advance of at least 1/3 of the total price of your commission + $0.50 (fifty cents), I suggest just paying half in advance (less math). This payment is nonrefundable.
- (If you are commissioning me through Artists&Clients skip this bullet) Larger or more complex projects may require 1/2 of the total price paid in advance
- I will show the piece when the rough sketch is finished (unless you're only ordering a sketch, in which case that would be the finished product), and depending on the complexity of the art, maybe one or two more times after that if necessary to make sure you are happy with the progress
- When the piece is finished I will require that you pay the remaining price before I send the finished work
I may share the finished work on social media and/ or display it in portfolios for advertising purposes, etc. a while after you've received it. If you have a problem with this please discuss this with me INITIALLY; before you give me a down payment, I should know about any important details and requests such as this.
