Once a commission has been accepted, you will be emailed an invoice that details the work being processed, including labor. You will not be placed on the waiting list until you return an acceptance of the invoice. If I do not get a return email with an acceptance of the invoice, I will not begin your commission.
Currently, I accept payment via PayPal only. I accept payment in full before the commission begins or half as a deposit to begin the commission and half after. (See “Payment Options” for details)
There are two lists which I currently work from: The Waiting List – Which is comprised of commissions who have accepted their invoices and have paid in full or in deposit and are waiting for their turn in the queue, and The Current List – Which is comprised of the current projects I am working on. When you are moved from the “waiting list,” you will be notified via email.
I do not give exact time limits, but approximate ones. Should there be something that slows down my commission process, I will notify everyone via Tumblr and those on the “Currently List” via email. I do accept commissions with deadlines, but I may also deny a deadline as well.
Mistakes or Changes: For all commissioned work, the client is permitted one free change during the sketching process. For sketches, the client is equally permitted one change. If any changes are to be made after the initial sketch is accepted, it will be $5.00 per change, not to exceed $20.00 in total. If the changes exceed the $20.00 threshold, I reserve the right to deny continuing your commission.
As the artist, I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.
As the artist, I reserve the right to cancel any commission that I have started on for any reason. (See “Refunds” for details)
As the client, you reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time. (See “Refunds” for details)
Once a commission has begun, the initial sketch will be sent via email for approval. Inks and colors, if they were ordered, will not be applied until the sketch is given approval.
As the artist, I reserve the right to retain the original file of the art and will retain the original file for up to 6 months. As the client, you will be given a copy with my watermark signature somewhere on the piece. This is to prevent theft. If you wish to have one with a more faded signature, please request it. I will allow this for prints and gifts. If you do not save the given file somewhere, I will not be able to provide it for you after 6 months; you will have to recommission me again.
All art will be posted on Tumblr, DeviantArt, and on my portfolio unless specifically requested. You may equally request not to have your name posted to any of the art.
Make sure that you check out my DeviantArt and the examples provided for my current art style. This is what you will be getting in terms of final product. Be sure that this is what you want before commissioning me.
As the artist, I reserve the right to deny any commission that I feel is done in malice or that depicts something that I am morally against. This includes but is not limited to: excessive gore, rape, anything that would be visually harmful, children in any harmful situation, etc. If you are unsure if I would draw it or not, you’re welcome to ask me when sending in your commission intent.
