Thanks so much for your interest! This is all the information you’ll need to know before we get started! Also known as, ToS!
TERMS OF SERVICE
Section I - Payment
I reserve the right to reject any commission for any reason.
After the sketch has been approved, then you will be required to pay.
Further work will not begin until the commission is paid.
I reserve the right to charge extra for extremely complex characters, at my discretion. This will always be discussed with the customer.
Section II - Refunds and Chargebacks
Once the payment is done, please allow up to 30 days to allow me to finish the work. I will communicate with you as work progresses, for reviews on various stages.
If you need your commission for a specific date, you MUST state so before I accept the commission.
Refunds are granted when there has been no update within a month of commissioning. ALWAYS ask for a refund instead of charging back.
You will be refunded only for work not yet completed, and you will receive all the work completed up to the point of the refund request. You may keep this for personal use, but may not have another artist complete it without my permission.
In the case of a chargeback, you will be permanently blacklisted. You may not commission me again, ever. I also reserve the right to warn other artists about your conduct.
Section III - Commercial Use
Commercial use of the artwork you commission is strictly NOT allowed under most circumstances.
If you would like to use the work for commercial gain you may pay an additional $500 USD for the usage of such.
When paying for commercial use, I will be writing up a contract where I specify which artwork is being used as such, and sign the paper as a release, and have another person witness. I will then mail a copy to you.
The artwork must be credited to me in a clear and visible location on any and all pages where it is displayed.
Commercial use of your commission includes but is not limited to the following: Making products with the artwork on it (shirts, mugs, etc), selling said products, selling prints, using it on video games or media that will be charged for, or anything else that results in direct monetary gain from the use of the commission.
Unauthorized commercial use of the commission will be treated as follows: I will attempt to contact you to take down the merchandise. If I cannot, a takedown will be issued. Repeatedly breaking this rule will result in blacklisting.
Section IV - Personal Use
Personal use of your commission includes the following: printing it to hang on your wall, giving a print to a friend where no money is exchanged, personal use as social media avatars/banners, putting it on your roleplay profile.
The artwork must be credited to me in a clear and visible location on any and all pages where it is displayed.
You may make small edits to the artwork, such as cropping for avatars or banners, but the artist’s signature may not be deliberately removed from the work to obfuscate credit. The artist may be contacted to move or alter the signature if required.
Section V - Miscellaneous
I reserve the right to reject any commission request for any reason, and I do not have to specify a reason. I will do my best to attempt to suggest an artist who might be able to handle your request better.
I will not draw: illegal content, such as lolicon, including characters that are adults in their setting but appear to be extremely young such as lalafell or elin (completely safe for work material involving these characters is fine, though). Extreme gore or snuff, obscene violence or sexual abuse, vore, pregnancy, or ecretory content, men or hyper-masculine characters*, very complex mechanics.
I WILL draw: NSFW (up to and including pornographic material), furries, animals, weapons and armor, simple mechanical parts such as robotic prosthetics, light blood or violence, LGBT themes.
I reserve the right to alter my pricing at any time, but I will never change pricing that’s already agreed upon for a work in progress.
- It is due to my inexperience in drawing rather masculine characters that I don't feel comfortable selling work I am not satisfied with. Please be understanding and take this in good faith. I'm always willing to give a look at your character and let you know honestly if I feel able to do it or not, so if you're unsure feel free to ask! For reference on the masculinity scale, butch lesbians are usually OK but Jojo's characters probably aren't.
