At this current time, i'am working the late shift of a printer repair company, while doing requests on the side. So far I've been doing a lot of free requests to get some practice in, i try to put the best effort i can into my work along with managing my time so the requests don't take weeks to finish. When it comes to pricing artwork however, i tend to low ball it below 5$. Even though it took me the better part of 2 days to complete, not that my work is bad. i just lack a level of confidence in my work. i tend to be highly critical of my own work to point of spending hours on small details to large area's at times.
