My name is Ines Šimek, I was born on 1977. in Osijek, Croatia ( Europe ) where I still live and I've been doing photography since 1998. I have learned basics of photography from professional photographers in Osijek and after that I continued to develop my photography skills through lot of effort and learning on my own.

Themes of my works are various, but I'm always trying to capture moment or scene exactly how I saw and felt it. To get images I want, I use natural light because it provides variety of colors, tones and games of light and shadows which I love.
Looking through my works, on most of them, whether they are in B&W or color, I'm trying to deliver that few seconds of perfection, beauty and tranquility from what surrounds me. I leave it to the viewer to find their own personal interpretation or emotion from each work.
