By hiring Nathan Reed (cynicalcoffee), henceforth known as 'the artist', you signify that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms of of this agreement.

1. Hiring
Hiring shall be conducted through artistsnclients.com. The artist is considered hired when payment is made for a commission slot, at which point you are considered the client.

2. Refunds
The client agrees and understands that there will be no refunds, in full or in part, once work has started on their commission. If the client desires a refund before work on their commission has begun, a refund will be made in full. Once a refund has been made, you are no longer considered a client of the artist.

3. Wips and progression
Once payment is received, the client is entitled to wip (work in progress) images on individual commissions with a value over $100 USD. In individual commissions with a value of less than $100.00 USD will, the client will not receive wip images. Clients purchasing commissions at any value are entitled to sending messages in regards to progression, and receiving emails back from the artist in the same regard.

4. Completion and Revisions
Once a commission is complete, the client is entitled to one minor revision, and one major revision. The artist will determine whether a revision is a minor or major revision upon the revision request. The client may requests additional revisions past the one minor and one major revision they are entitled, however the artist reserves the right to charge an additional fee per extra revision, to be negotiated between the artist and the client at the time when additional revisions are requested.

5. Rights and Reproduction, Commercial
The artists retains the rights to the original image, including, but not exclusive to: the rights to reproduce the image, display the image in public, physically or on the internet, and sell prints of the image.
The client is granted perpetual license to: reproduce the image, modify the image, sell the image or use as marketing material, display the image publicly, physically or on the internet, and extend their license to third parties, at cost or without cost, for the same purposes.

5.1 Rights and Reproduction, Personal
The artists retains the rights to the original image, including, but not exclusive to: the rights to reproduce the image, display the image in public, physically or on the internet, and sell prints of the image.
The client is granted license to: reproduce the image, and display the image in public, physically or on the internet. The client is not granted license to sell the image, use it in marketing material, or for any purpose intended to result in monetary gain.

6. Nondisclosure Agreements
The client may present the artist with a nondisclosure agreement to modify some points of reproduction and display in article 5 of this agreement. This nondisclosure agreement must not extend past the release of the product, or modify the rights of the artist to the original work.
