Hi there! My name is Hayley and I run The Character Consultancy. I'm a trainee psychotherapist, a keen writer, and a budding Youtuber.

I'm a character designer specialising in writing up characters' personalities. I make these write-ups into a range of different products, including:

Infographics (the above write-up, made into a beautifully presented reference sheet incorporating existing art of your character (with the artists' permission, of course)

Full Length Video Introductions (around 10 minutes long)

This service is helpful for:

• Getting help with early-stage character development
• Showcasing an existing character
• Gifts, either as a finished product or as a fun experience for the recipient. Many customers say they find this an enjoyable and unusual way to indulge in their character

I can also make all of the above for species and for worldbuilding settings.

I do not add or change anything about your character unless you ask me to - I use my psychological expertise to add depth to what is already there.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
If you would like a reference sheet or video, contact me (by Note or email on thecharacterconsultancy@gmail.com). I'll send you a questionnaire to complete which asks for details about how your character thinks, feels and behaves. You send it back to me and I'll use the text you've written to write up an analysis. If you wish, I can send you a Work In Progress of the write-up so you can make sure it's accurate. Once you're happy with it I'll make the product you've paid for.
