These are my Terms of Service! Some things may seem a little complicated but it's really just all for the protection of the artist and client. My process of things will be explained, but if anything is unclear please don't hesitate to shoot me a message and ask! I want to ensure things go as smoothly as possible.
The Process
Lineart
This will be just simple lineart. Even in just this beginning stage the lines will be clean and neat to avoid any confusion that underlying sketch lines can make. Adjustments at this stage are the easiest to do so the client will be shown the lines so any and all changes with the linework can be made.
Colors
If the client does not have a set color scheme in mind, I will provide options that I believe suitable for them. If the client does have a color scheme in mind this is where they can get an idea of how it will look! At this point I may or may not include another option or two with my personal choices, just to give the client more ideas for possibilities. Colors at this point as well will just be basic color blocking, no shading will be done.
Final!
Final stage will add any and all shading as well as the background if one is chosen. Tweaks in colors at this point can still be done, but are a little more difficult, anything is possible though to ensure the client is completely satisfied!
Delivery
All digital items will be delivered in lossless PDF form, or another format if requested by the client. Regardless of the format everything will be delivered in a high definition resolution and format.
PLEASE DO NOTE While I do not have a limit on the number of revisions the client can request, I will say something if it becomes too far above and beyond. Please do not take advantage of this. I want to ensure every clients' happiness but I will not allow anyone to take advantage of me.
Will Do
- Extra Characters Base Price x # of Extra Characters
- Complex Backgrounds +20.00 USD
- Pet / Animal +5.00 USD
Will Not Do
- Anthros and furries. I have done them in the past but I'm simply not comfortable doing them on a regular basis. Thing such as ears, tails, horns, are still okay as I do have experience drawing some creatures that involve these features.
- Mechas, robots, automatons. I am not skilled in these fields and do not fee comfortable exploring these further as commissions.
- NSFW or pornography. In some occasions I will approve partial frontal nudity as long as it is tasteful but I will reserve my right to say no.
Display, Usage, and Rights
- The Artist retains all rights to the artwork.
- The Client retains all rights to their characters.
- The Client can use the artwork for non-commercial purposes such as icons, wallpapers, or other graphics, and can display the piece on their personal website or gallery, with credit to the Artist.
- The Artist reserves the right to display commissioned work on personal websites and use in example and promotional materials.
- The Artist may recycle any works-in-progress pieces that were rejected or unpaid by the client for use in other commissions or personal works.
